Mark your calendars, the Cape Cod Baseball Umpires Association (CCBUA) will once again host a Hot Stove Night on Thursday January 25th at the Barnstable Police Station. Topics planned for discussion at this point include “Plate Interference; make the right call” and “Working the B & C positions”. Additional topics are currently being planned too for this lively and educational evening.

Representatives from Honigs East will be on-hand before Monday’s (March 28th) membership meeting with equipment as well as MBUA apparel including embroidered hats. Please make plans to be early and to take advantage of available discounts being offered to CCBUA members. Reminder, the business meeting will begin promptly at 7pm.
The CCBUA meeting on May 11th will now start at 7:30pm. All members are urged to attend following your afternoon baseball game. This is an extremely important meting as we will be voting on Scudder nominees as well as an an important update regarding the MIAA meeting about required background checks which will begin in June.
The CCBUA banquet date has been changed to Sunday May 31st beginning at 6pm and will again held at the Brazillian Grill in Hyannis.
