The annual CCBUA banquet was held on Sunday June 2nd at the Brazilian Grill on Main St in Hyannis. The Roger Scudder Award was presented to the Sturgis Baseball Program and Head Coach, Larry Shell, accepted the award on behalf of the baseball program.

The Cape Cod Baseball Umpires Association is using the new MIAA recommended “RefReps” online training course for new umpires.
RefReps mission is guided by a passionate desire to properly develop the next generation of GREAT sports officials! Comprised of comprehensive officiating education courses and interactive training video packs the RefReps Officiating Education System™ will help you create a modernized educational experience. We teach the pillars of officiating with our standardized online course curriculum complete with instructor guides, support materials, assessments, example videos, and more. Paired with our innovative POV video training packs, you will see the game through the eyes of the officials, practically apply what they’ve learned, and build confidence before ever stepping out on the field.
You will work through the course at your convenience from the comfort of your home! We are able to monitor your progress and are always available to assist as needed. Once you complete the course with at least an 80% score, there will be a mandatory field training clinic on one Saturday in March TBD.
Cost: $135 (includes class, first year dues, rule books and manuals)
